Service of Process

The Department of Conservation accepts personal service of documents at 715 P Street, Sacramento, California 95814 during business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Department of Conservation will not accept service of any documents naming or pertaining to any other departments, boards, conservancies, commissions, or councils.

To arrange a time for personal service, please email the Department of Conservation at Legal.Office@conservation.ca.gov

The Department of Conservation will accept service electronically via notice of acknowledgment and receipt (CCP § 415.30) if the notice and the papers being served name the Department of Conservation and are emailed to: Legal.Office@conservation.ca.gov
